Feature Motion Picture

In this science fiction adventure, the robotic Fathier creature was controlled by Overdrive in shots where cast rode on its back. A 6-axis electric motion base and 24 electric cylinders were controlled simultaneously. Overdrive's unique `Reverse-FK Solve` generated the 3D nodal position of the creature in hard real time - aiding the VFX department in the process of lining up pre-vis with practical photography. Overdrive flew the X-wings and TIE fighters, controlled a Scout Walker and other hydraulic and electric gimbals.
